Our Corporate Communications department manages relationships with the media and shares information about the company both externally and to our employees worldwide

The Manager, Critical Communications is responsible for creating relatable, clear communications that bring our company priorities to life for employees, so they feel informed and bought in to where we are headed. They will partner with senior leaders and other stakeholders from across the company, as well as other Corporate Communications teams to build and drive critical communications that support our corporate stakeholders. This role is also responsible for advancing the strategy for our networked digital display screens in the field. This includes overseeing the distribution and upgrades of new technology, creating templates and toolkits for engaging content, and supporting field leaders to localize content.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create integrated employee communications strategies, content and plans in support of key corporate functions
  • Establish relationships with stakeholders, prioritize communications that balance business needs with employee understanding and create engaging communications that connect the dots between our company strategy, the current environment and our people
  • Oversee project plan for employee information display screen (EIDS) investement, including timeline of content management system upgrades, impact to locations currently using technology and capabilities supported by updated system
  • Create communications and training plan to support local leaders and adminstrators
  • Expand the reach and effectiveness of current key employee communication channels by creating engaging content and evaluating use. Identify new opportunities to enhance enterprise digital platforms
  • Provide communications counsel/support for key subject matter experts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of corporate communications experience
  • Demonstrated track record of managing successful, proactive and creative communications campaigns that use a variety of tools, forums and media”
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Superior business writing and editing skills
  • Grammar and spelling
  • Proven ability to create integrate communications plans
  • Able to work effectively & efficiently in cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Forward-thinking, diligent and creative
  • Experience editing website content in Sitecore or similar CMS
  • Comfortable with deploying emails through an enterprise email platform
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
