TFG Job Application – Product Owner

Job Description:

The Product Owner will interface with the client, establish needs and requirements. Actively facilitate & participate in brainstorming sessions to refine scope.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain project documentation, course folders and workflow using relevant internal tools
• Ensure all SLAs are met
• Coach and | or mentor within your domain when required
• Co-ordinate workflow internally from design, development through to publishing
• Ensure curricula or programs for digital learning aligned to the 5Di principle | ADDIE
• Collaborate with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify business problem and obtain course content
• Ensure tested digital instructional design theories, practices and methods are applied
• Provide input into internal processes and digital methodology to aid continuous improvement
• Remain abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field of digital learning and web development
• Support internal QA and peer review
• Brief in project requirements to the DLC pipeline
• Effectively collaborate with other roles in the DLC, Talent department and business stakeholders, negotiating timelines whenever necessary
• Contribute to or lead design | brainstorming | idea generation sessions to craft appropriate learning solution

Job Requirements:

• Able to work in a highly pressurised and deadline driven environment
• Able to create high quality course framework and storyboards
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Able to co-ordinate projects and project teams
• A passion for process and standards with a focus on continuous improvement
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills – digital preferred
• A passion for storytelling
• A willingness to learn and a focus on continuous improvement
• Excellent attention to detail

Qualification & Experience:

• Team lead experience desirable
• 4+ years’ Proven working experience relevant field
• A qualification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, UX, ETDP, Technology, QA or a related field
• 4+ years’ experience in digital learning environment preferred
• Project management experience preferred
