Job Description:

This position is responsible for initiating, developing, and driving strategic plans to improve city and regional perofrmance. Thought leader and subject matter expert of specific geogrpahical region(s) utilizing traffic and revenue analysis, demand generation reporting, sale and offer optimzation, brand moitoring, and Customer intelligence. Drives team innovation and successfully executes plans with minimal direction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans
  • Serves as a trusted resource to assist Employees and other departments in understanding local market strategies, driving current local market initiatives, and designing methodology for project/initiative delivery.
  • Develops, guides, and presents strategic business and marketing direction (participates in pricing policies, sale plans, media plans, and advertising messaging to drive market-level Customer development and traffic and revenue performance)
  • Lead cross-functional Commercial and Marketing Teams to deliver projects and local market strategies and plans on time, within budget, and within agreed upon scope.
  • Identifies evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements in the field of Marketing; drives his or her team to adapt
  • Proactively identifies solutions and positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and Marketing department and cross-functional Commercial Regional team
  • Mentors teammates and brings new tools into the team and leads education and development efforts
  • Serves as the Marketing representative and is responsible for two-way flow of information between Marketing and crossfunctional teams within the Commercial Organization
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts to establish a comprehensive understanding and to distinguish user/Customer requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Responsible for facilitating and leading cross-departmental coordination to support local market planning decisions, foster innovation, align routine activities, and drive joint solutions.
  • Analyze operational performance, business process, Customer insights, and/or future needs to clarify key challenges, diagnose root cause, and recognize performance improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required
  • Possesses strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Must be comfortable with handling confidental information and excel in presenting/communictating directly to senior and executive management
  • Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both Customers and fellow Employees
  • Delivers quality work within a low-cost environment
  • Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in order to influence business decisions
  • Ability to proactively monitor future Marketing trends

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience with the airline industry or marketing analytics is highly preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
  • SQL experience is preferred
  • Marketing, Advertising, Market Research, Communications preferred
  • Experience with spreadsheets, databases and database reporting tools is necessary
  • Minimum 6 years experience in business analytics and/or management or, minimum 4 years experience with an advanced degree
  • Bachelor’s degree required
