Job Description:

The purpose of the Short term Marketing Advisor role is to build a sustainable Short-term Insurance business unit that provides Short-term Insurance solutions to Intermediaries through training & technical sales support

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generating sales
  • Travel extensively
  • Identifying opportunities for the FAs to pursue
  • Identifying and sourcing new FAs and Specialist FA’s
  • Create marketing opportunities for FA’s in order to increase market share for the business
  • Train and support FA’s with regards to Momentum Insure and it’s offerings

Job Requirements:

  • Presentation skills
  • Relationship building
  • Cross selling
  • Knowledge of the current regulatory environment (FAIS, FICA, POPIA)
  • Risk awareness
  • Technical Skills and Competence
  • In depth specialist knowledge of short-term insurance products (personal and commercial lines)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years short term insurance experience (Independent financial advisory – Brokers)
  • Relevant marketing and/sales degree, diploma or equivalent (beneficial)
  • Matric/Grade 12 (minimum)
