Job Description:

To ensure that all contact with clients uphold the image of the organization and scheme, that results in “first response resolution” is achieved and you initiate corrective action where required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Effective individual contribution towards SLA compliance by ensuring adherence to schedule or occupancy, quality service, production and appropriate follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Ensuring the Scheme and in particular Metropolitan Health are not exposed to financial risk as a result of incorrect confirmation of benefit, claims, or membership information.
  • Dealing effectively with written enquiries by applying the knowledge of the industry, claims, premiums and any medical aid related enquiries.
  • Contacting members telephonically with regards to outstanding queries.
  • Correspondence and E-mail communications
  • Client retention and goodwill by effectively resolving queries from members, employer groups, service providers and the Scheme.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of varied aspects pertaining to the Scheme and associated administration processes; including investigations.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to learn and apply new skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • MS Office proficiency

  • Attention to detail and quality excellence

Qualification & Experience:

  • Medical Aid administration experience would be advantages.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a call centre or client service would be advantages.
  • Matric or Grade 12 equivalent qualification.
