Job Description:
As the Director General for the Service Delivery Transformation Group you will provide leadership and have direct responsibility for driving transformation of the MoJ’s operational services and programmes, through your functional teams – overseeing improvements in our digital capability, ensuring success of our major programmes, and co-ordinating activities as the department recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic – whilst also leading three of our key Executive Agencies, overseeing their operational delivery and ongoing reforms to improve services and efficiency of back-office support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading the department’s roadmap to recovery and responding to emergency situations including COVID-19, and developing capability for emergency planning and crisis management; and
- Oversight and delivery of the department’s major programmes, providing portfolio, and project support to ensure that benefits are realised, and key areas of risk are appropriately managed;
- Overseeing the OPG, the LAA and the CICA, supporting the CEOs to deliver operational services and ongoing change and reform aspirations, including maximising joint working with One-MoJ partners
- Developing an innovative digital offer across MoJ to support our ambition of a modern Criminal Justice System, whilst also updating existing systems critical to frontline delivery of services;
