Job Responsibilities:
- Promote quality of nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards as determined by the relevant health facility. Work as part of multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care.
- Perform a clinical nursing practice and nursing standard as determined by the relevant health facility.
- Provision of high quality care that is holistic and is patient centered without stigmatization.
- Be a team leader that is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating & supervising activities within the facility.
- Will also be responsible for ensuring that all quality assurance standard and other health mandates are implemented during her/his shifts Effective utilization of both material and non-material resources
- Ensuring that nursing care provided is within the scope of practice of nurses and legal frame work.
- Promotion of professionalism and always leading by examples.
- Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors and other clinicians, Work effectively, co operatively with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious differences.
- Demonstrate an understanding of nursing legislation and related frameworks.
- Assist in completion of the clinical stationary and ensure that data is entered timeously.
Job Requirements:
- Good communication skills, good ethical practice & caring attitude.
- A current SANC receipt and registration certificate.
Qualification & Experience:
- Diploma / Degree in Nursing (R425), or equivalent qualification that allows registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse.
