Gauteng Provincial Government Vacancies – ENROLLED NURSE

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate basic understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices.
• Promote quality of basic nursing care as directed by the professional scope of practice and standards for Enrolled Nurse.
• Perform elementary clinical nursing practice in accordance with the scope of practice.
• Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to ensure good nursing care.
• Generic: Display concern for patients, promoting and advocating basic care including awareness and willingness to respond to patient’s needs, requirements and expectations – Batho Pele principles and Patient’s Right charter.
• Demonstrate basic communication with patients, supervisors and all other clinicians.

Job Requirements:

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Valid proof of current registration with the SANC as a Enrolled Nurse.
• Knowledge of relevant nursing legislation.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Enrolled Nurse.
