Job Description:

This role forms a major part of the Digital transformation and customer experience journey that will enhance our guest experience and breed the best in class digital offering to our customers worldwide. A big part of this journey is delivered through Salesforce and it needs a high level of technical Salesforce Development to take the tools to the next level.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains and enhances the existing custom applications.
• Take business requirements and applies the iterative agile development process in order to rapidly create functional prototypes and release the final product.
• Ensures the use and flow of the application code is accurate and well documented.
• Participates in the full application lifecycle, from development and testing to deployment and support.
• Assists with the management of the Dev, QA and Production environments.
• Assists with the management of formal releases.
• Contributes to the architecture principles, design standards, and the use of best practices for Salesforce Development.
• Performs hands-on development, including declarative customization, Lightning actions, Aura components and Lightning Web Components.

Qualification & Experience:

• Expert knowledge around configuration, integration, and customization (Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL, SOSL, consuming and providing REST/SOAP API, WSDL, Force.com Migration Tool)
• Expert knowledge in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud (not essential) and Salesforce Community
• Degree qualified in a Computer Science or Business discipline would be an advantage but not essential
• Experience in working with AGILE and SCRUM
• Able to develop pages using Aura components, Lightning Web Components and Salesforce Lightning Design System (HIGH)
• Experience in working with XML, JSON, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services
• Experience migrating from Classic to Lightning Salesforce UI
• Advanced knowledge and experience of building and testing Lightning Components
