Job Description:
To provide efficient and effective procurement of goods and services (i.e. low value, low risk) timeously, within budget and in accordance with procurement policies, procedures and practices
Job Responsibilities:
- Negotiates and coordinate conclusion of the agreement with suppliers to meet customer expectations
- Build and maintain healthy interpersonal and inter-team relationships
- Perform dual adjudication of tenders and management of contacts/purchase orders within set policies and standards
- Execute purchasing of goods and services and manage procurement administration
- Consult with supervisor to manage problems/risks and make recommendations timeously
- Access, analyses procurement information independently
- Execute integrated sourcing and procurement processes and follow prescribed procedures towards fulfilling procurement needs
Job Requirements:
- Problem solving skills, Mentoring, Coaching
- Knowledge of Strategic Commodity /Projects Sourcing
- Professionalism, Trustworthiness, Team player, Administration skills
- Knowledge of SAP Materials Management Module
Qualification & Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in Sourcing and Procurement or technical related experience
- 3 year National Diploma/CIPS NQF Level 5 (National Diploma preferable in Purchasing Management, Logistics, Supply Chain)
