Job Description:
Promote and sell Emirates Holidays products and services within an assigned remit of responsibility ensuring the weekly leisure sales targets for passenger, air, land and gross sales revenue are achieved in line with the growth strategy of Emirates Holidays.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, co-ordinate, expedite and resolve any relationship, sales or booking related issues impacting the delivery of revenue results and proactively suggest solutions to overcome these.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders including with Emirates commercial teams and travel trade relationships through sales visits to each allocated source agent.
- Validate, refine and enhance your knowledge of Emirates Holidays strategic market segments, destination and brochure products, processes, procedures and technology to ensure the effective promotion of Emirates Holidays products and services as well as training assigned travel agents on these.
- Deliver the weekly and monthly budgeted revenue, yield and volume sales targets for an assigned remit of responsibility.
- Produce weekly and monthly activity reports to document sales activity against sales targets and highlight positive and negative sales results and provide recommendations for alternate sales strategies to counteract negative results when necessary.
- Obtain quality market intelligence (market trends, competitor activity) and communicate findings with recommendations to refine and adapt sales strategies to exploit new opportunities and counter competitor activities.
- Recommend commercial arrangements with travel agents including tactical activity (route deals/incentives etc.) to maximize revenue opportunities and effectively gain market share for Emirates Holidays.
- Coordinate with internal Emirates Holidays teams to deliver product presentations to travel agents in conjunction with hotels/NTOs alongwith standalone delivery of presentations on Emirates Holidays
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of tour operating software would be advantageous
- Clear understanding of the tourism industry
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- UAE Drivers License
- Sound knowledge of MS office applications
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience in selling airline leisure, tour operator or hotel products is advantageous
- 12 Years schooling or equivalent
- Commercial/Sales.Tours (Inbound) : 5+ Years
- Experience in the travel or tourism industry of which at least 2 years should be spent working in a sales environment
