Job Description:

To restore normal IT service operations and fulfil IT Service Requests within agreed service levels and business priorities and minimize the adverse impact on business operations for Emirates Group and External Clients.   To manage ServiceNow application modules of Service Requests, Service Catalogue and hardware asset management including user administration, configuration, development and scripting requirements. To act as technical mentor and trainer for junior staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the team maintain and control in auditable manner all transactions relating to receipt, storage, issue, return and re-issue of computer and server equipment. To ensure equipment deployed is auditable and appropriate action is taken when equipment is either lost, damaged or cannot be maintained in a cost effective manner.
  • To update the status of an incident or service request in the tool. To make sure that they hold up to date information before acting on any incident or service request to insure that tool and relevant teams are updated. Ensure escalation and other sectional procedures are maintained, proactively informing management of process or procedural improvements.
  • To provide required ServiceNow reports, statistics and assistance to Service Request Manager in regular customer services reviews.
    areas i.e Hotel, Airport, Emquest etc. Liaise with vendors, IT coordinators and other IT teams to ensure a high level of system availability.
  • To assist in implementing, configuring and operating ServiceNow application for Service Request and asset management. To assist in system Upgrade to next version as per serviceNow advice and releases.
  • To create and maintain ServiceNow lists & forms, UI Policies, Data Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, User administration, Tables, Import sets and Update sets, Service Catalogue, Workflow, approval routings, notifications, management reports, no code and low code configuration/customisation.
  • To be an interface with different technical teams, applications teams and Customer support team and dissipate the solutions required for all incident management and service request for all assigned business
  • To configure Servicenow Asset management module, maintain rule for audit, stock rooms, hardware movement, receipt, expense lines, issuance, recovery, disposal, and retirement.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Programming Language: Core Java, C & C++
  • Trained on ServiceNow modules: System administration, Scripting Best Practices and Implementation Best Practices by ServiceNow Educational Services
  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
  • Certified ITIL/ITSM Foundation level.
  • Client Side Scripting Language: JavaScript, Jelly Scripting, Angular JS (ServiceNow)
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist for Service Request, Service Catalogue and Hardware Asset management
  • IDE: NetBeans, ServiceNow Studio
  • Information Technology.
