Barclays Careers Graduate – Solution Architect

Job Description:

As a Barclays Solutions Architect within our Payments team, you will be design and implement business solutions in line with our business priorities. You will be a team player and will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Developers and other Solutions experts to create and propose card payment solutions that align to Barclay’s standards and technology strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure solution designs align to Barclay’s standards and technology strategy
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure that delivered solutions correspond to the approved design
• You will research relevant technologies and demonstrate their benefits by developing Proof of Concepts where necessary
• Contribute to the Architectural Roadmap
• Support the delivery planning process to ensure interdependencies are understood and that plans are viable
• An experienced Solutions or Software Architect working in product development
• Software development experience
• Expertise within architectural design patterns and knowledge of best practices
• Bachelor’s Degree in computing, digital, or similar technology subject or commensurate technical experience.
