Job Description:

We have an exciting position for Millwright – Fixed Term Contract) who will ensure that equipment / machinery are functional and available, new processes and procedures are implemented and team members achieve the prescribed competencies to ensure customer satisfaction. To conduct work on various equipment pieces (HME / Plant equipment).

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all toolboxes and tools are kept in good condition
• Provide accurate and understandable information as well as continuous on-the-job training to assist learner / team member to acquire the required competencies and address any shortcomings.
• Ensure job cards are completed in full and returned back on time
• Ensure that the work environment is equipped with the necessary spare parts and defective components are identified in order to find and implement permanent solutions.
• Provide assistance to supervisor and co-workers when required within company policies, procedures and guidelines to enhance teamwork objectives
• Maintain and test all equipment / machinery to ensure functionality, safety and availability to complete work within the specified timeframe and budgetary limits.
• Ensure work is executed as per Operating Model standards & procedures
• Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment.
• Ensure proper communication and handover on outstanding tasks between shifts and day shift teams

Job Requirements:

• Code 08 Drivers Licence

Qualification & Experience:

• 1-2 Years’ experience as an Artisan
• Qualified as an Artisan (Millwright)
• Grade 12 Certificate / N3 Technical
• N2 Engineering Studies
